Lama Ghanem

Born in Damascus in 1989 and now based in Linz, Austria, Lama Ghanem is an illustrator, a skilled interior designer and a performative artist. She holds a master’s degree in time-based media from the University for Art and Design Linz, Austria.

In her illustrations, she brings female characters to life. Her work highlights the stories of women in a way that many people connect with and appreciate.

As the curator of Atelier Transpart, a dynamic art gallery in Linz’s Franckviertel district, she fosters creativity and supports transcultural artists. She also organizes a drawing event called „Coffee to Draw“.
